By downloading, installing, or using the Daily Noor App ("DNA", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

1. Purpose of the App

Daily Noor App is designed to assist Muslims in their daily religious practices, including prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran reading with audio recitation, and Islamic learning. The app is intended for informational and educational purposes only and is provided completely free of charge.

2. Religious Content Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate Islamic content based on authentic Sunni sources, this app should not be considered a substitute for consultation with qualified Islamic scholars. For matters of religious rulings (fatwa), personal guidance, or complex religious questions, we strongly encourage users to consult with their local imam or a qualified Islamic scholar.

The content provided is for general guidance and educational purposes. Different Islamic schools of thought may have varying opinions on certain matters.

3. Prayer Times and Qibla Direction

Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical algorithms and may vary slightly from local mosque times. The Qibla direction feature relies on your device's sensors and GPS, which may not always be perfectly accurate. We recommend verifying Qibla direction using multiple sources when possible.

4. Halal Restaurant Finder

The Halal Restaurant Finder feature uses data from OpenStreetMap and relies on information provided by restaurant owners and community contributors. Daily Noor App does not independently verify the halal status of any restaurant listed. Users are advised to verify halal certification directly with each establishment before consuming food.

5. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• Verifying the accuracy of prayer times with their local mosque
• Consulting qualified scholars for religious guidance
• Using the app in accordance with Islamic ethics and principles
• Maintaining the security of their device and any personal data
• Independently verifying the halal status of restaurants

6. Limitation of Liability

Daily Noor App and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on any information provided through the app, including prayer times, Qibla direction, and restaurant listings.

7. Intellectual Property

The app design, branding, and original content are the property of Daily Noor App. Quranic text, Hadith collections, and Dua content are from authentic Islamic sources and are shared for educational purposes. Audio recitations are provided via third-party services (EveryAyah.com) and are subject to their own terms.

8. Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
